About Schoell Marine

In the early 1960's utilizing the deep "V" hull shape and patented Running Strakes . Harry Schoell designed the Magnum twenty-eight. He also designed the Wellcraft Zepher and Vega, which introduced state of the art balsa core lamination method.

By 1970 Schoell Marine was instrumental in engineering and designing projects for Seabird , North American, Donzi, Cary, IMP, M.G. Glastron, Stapelton, Hammond and Trojan; all of which included Schoell's "revolutionary" Delta Conic Hull .

The decade of the eighties proved to be a landmark in the marine industry when Schoell Marine designed and stylized the "Trojan International Series." From the Delta Conic Hull to contemporary styling with spacious and modern interiors, Schoell Marine is recognized as a worldwide leader in creativity and innovation as shown in the SR-84.

Schoell Marine began the last decade of the century with a series of new and exciting concepts, all geared to leading the industry into the new millennium. A few of the design commissions of the nineties included: Columbia Research Corp., U.S. Navy (submarine), Disney Studios, Cannell Production, Multi Sea, Fountain Powerboats, U.S. Marine Corps, Challenger Offshore
1), Infinity Yachts, Larson Boats (1)(2)(3), Yamaha, Propulsion Systems Inc., Mach Propellers, Oceanic, Performance Boats, Caiman Catamaran, Alsberg Boat Works ( 1 ), Active Thunder, Rinalli Ltd., Flarecraft and Powertech Propellers.

The new century has brought several companies on board using Schoell's design and engineering "know-how" for their projects: Midnight Express, Crompton Marine (UK) Ltd., Predator Marine, RumRunners' Yachts and Kiwi Cats.

Numerous individuals have commissioned Schoell Marine to design custom built yachts for them in response to a proven track record of many award winning designs and engineering accomplishments.

Schoell's inventive ideas ideas have engendered numerous patents being issued for the following: Running Strakes , Delta Conic Hull , Water Jet Propelling Apparatus for Boats , Ground Effects Machine (2), Anchor and Winch , Trimmable Surface Drive , Rolling Radial Engines (2), Duo Conic Hull and numerous other patent pending projects.
